David Broncano For two months he has been directing “La Revuelta”, the new prime time access program on La 1. The presenter of the public channel maintains a very tight daily battle with “El Hormiguero”, managing to surpass him in audience several evenings. “La Revuelta” is recorded from Monday to Thursday at the Príncipe de Gran Vía theater in Madrida city where Broncano has resided for more than two decades. And the presenter was born in Santiago de Compostela and grew up in Orcera, a small town in Jaén, but decided to move to the capital to begin his university studies.

Broncano is generally very reserved about his private life and stays away from social media. Broncano loves going out to eat and dine in Madrid and, precisely in Malasaña, there is one of his favorite restaurants: Tapas Circus. Specifically, it is located on Corredera Baja street in San Pablo, at number 21, between the Callao and Tribunal metro stations.

“I really like it for the decoration and because we eat like at home. HAS tapas and a daily menu with a little bit of everything: salads, hamburgers, pasta… that’s it good price. It’s perfect for meeting up for lunch with a good conversation,” he said in the interview for the Repsol Guide.

The Cirque des Tapas belongs to the Bamboléo Groupowner of other establishments such as the Malpica bar or the Bahiana Club. The restaurant is distinguished by its pleasant atmosphere and his cozy and vintage decoration. In addition, Tripadvisor customers highlight the good treatment of the staff and the excellent quality of their cuisine.

The restaurant combines traditional Spanish cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant also has a ‘circus burger’, house specialty, composed of beef, brie cheese, bacon, caramelized onion and house mustard on toasted muffin bread, as well as others meats like grilled innards or steaky bao’s with hoisin sauce.

Circo de las Tapas also offers four different desserts: panna cotta, cheesecake with strawberry jam, and brownie of chocolate with vanilla ice cream, for 7.50 euros, plus one dessert tasting for 11€. The bar-restaurant also offers Saturdays paellada for 18 euros and on Sunday one brunch for the same price.

But the Circo de las Tapas isn’t the only place David Broncano fell in love with. The presenter is also a regular customer of Federal Cafewhere you are going to have breakfast or brunch, and Arzabal Restaurantlocated at the Reina Sofía Museum, where he celebrated his signing for the public channel.
