Root, whose views were quite eclectic, rose to prominence due to her support for both extreme political movements and individuals. For example, as they write on social media, she simultaneously supported Ukraine and Taiwan, sympathized with North Korea, expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and opposed vaccination. Among the politicians she has supported are Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, and Bernie Sanders, reflecting the wide range of her beliefs. In addition, she actively defended the right to bear arms.
As Cursor reported, the incident occurred near Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. During the assassination attempt, Trump was on the club’s premises but was quickly evacuated by security. Initially, media outlets speculated that the shooting was related to gang violence in an area known for its high crime rate.
After the investigation began, which included the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI, it became clear that this was an attempt to assassinate Trump. The suspect has been identified as Ryan Wesley Root, 58, who has eight previous arrests for misdemeanors. On social media, he openly criticized Trump and supported current President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamalla Harris.
