The Al-Masna border crossing, which connects Lebanon to Syria, has become a major point for those trying to leave Lebanon amid rising tensions. Last night it was attacked by Israeli forces (IDF) after Israeli intelligence indicated that Hezbollah militants were trying to smuggle ammunition in trucks to Lebanon through the crossing.
Israel warned the Lebanese government about the threat of arms smuggling, but apparently no action was taken, prompting the Israeli attack.
