What is wrong with Armenian society and the pro-Turkish authorities? – EADaily, October 4, 2024 – Political News, Caucasus News

Armenian opposition leader Bagrat Galstanyan (Srbazan) described an excellent opportunity to start a heated public debate. You can agree with him, you can… no, that’s not important. The important thing is that there are good reasons to speculate about the state of society, says Vahe Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Alternative Projects group.

In short, when they say: “society wants this”, “it demands this”; It is necessary to try to understand what today’s society is like and on whose behalf it is debated, the expert rightly points out.

“Actually, we didn’t know the defeated Armenian. 70 years of Soviet power and 30 years of independence relegated the state of consciousness of defeat to oblivion. The defeat seemed foreign to us, typical of others. Now we face a defeated Armenian and a defeated society. What if the defeated Armenian wants nothing or wants something terribly bad? Do we know its power and destructive potential?

The first time I thought about this was after November 9, seeing the decline of Artsakh society. This was no longer the old, proud, rational Artsakh. And this also led to the failure of crisis management, to historic collapses in a short period of time.” — writes Hovhannisyan.

In his opinion, “our collective spirit has already accepted the loss of the State.” Even the healthy strata, even the struggling ones, are already skeptical about our country’s prospects. The main task of the new leadership is to change these feelings. The objective of the new direction should be precisely this task, and if we accept it, the “ancient and present” debate will be nullified:

“With this attitude, society does not want: neither the new ones, nor the old ones, nor the existing ones. But this is precisely what leads us to disaster. This is where the most important and difficult moment comes: how to change the mood of a defeated society? At the beginning of his movement, Bagrat Srbazan started this process very successfully and a great wave of overcoming the feeling of hopelessness spread through the society. This was an emotional stage of the movement.

But how to continue this stage so that people really believe in the prospects of the State? Here people are already waiting for rational political proposals and clear steps to believe in. They will believe that as a result of these steps the country will have a future.

We have lost the image of an integral society. Today Armenia looks like a large refugee camp, waiting for the opening of several checkpoints and some guarantees that it will not be destroyed. However, today’s world offers no guarantees; look at the case of the Middle East.

Instead of a comprehensive society, we have a human mass divided into different subcultures. “Subculture of the proud”, “Subculture of the indifferent”, “Subculture of the desperate”, “Subculture of the fighters”, “Subculture of the deceased”.

One of the tasks of the new leadership is to bring these segments together into a coherent society, creating the possibility of internal reconciliation and common goals. Under such conditions, the opposition between “old and current” will be supplanted. Only one question remains: who can do it?

The question is not whether it will be previous, current or future, but: will they be able to do it? Who can restore this society to believe in itself again and begin to restore its own state? —asks the author.

For his part, the former vice president of the Armenian parliament Ara Sahakyan suggests that Türkiye was able to convince Armenia’s current authorities not to seek solutions internationally and in international courts.

In essence, the Prime Minister’s statements and actions Nikol Pashinian in New York was a demonstration that he accepted the conditions and agreed that from now on the fate of Armenia is in the hands of Turkey, and he not only agreed, but pointed it out to the whole world, Sahakyan is sure.

“In fact, he told the world that Armenia’s partner in solving regional problems is Türkiye and that there is no need for the intervention of other actors.” – said the expert in the Pressing program, reports VERELQ.

Sahakyan compared Pashinyan’s desire to cooperate with the Turkish side to “a very strong unrequited love, the consequence of which can only be one thing: suicide”, in this case it will be a failure of the state.

Meeting Pashinyan-Erdogan in New York was the realization of an old dream of the Turkish leader, who had always dreamed of dealing with an Armenian government that was willing to consign the barbarism of the Turks against the Armenians to oblivion.

“And so they received such power, and perhaps even contributed to its arrival. And now the Turkish side is systematically carrying out the next task: destroying the Armenian leaders, finally and completely subjugating them to itself.” – says the politician.

And to conclude, a comment from TK’s “comrade general” about the tactics of the “good guys and bad guys” chosen by Pashinyan.

Nikol Vovaevich participated in the technology that the United States, without hesitation, always and everywhere uses. It involves blaming the “bad guys,” regardless of the actual circumstances or whether the guys are bad at all.

This was the case when the US Secretary of State was waving a test tube at the UN, preparing for the invasion of Iraq. This happened in Libya, Iran, Syria, Belgrade; in general, in all the places where the “good guys” of the Pentagon entered.

It is much easier for Pashinyan to exist in such a paradigm because he himself is one of them: he exists outside of formal logic and cause-and-effect relationships. He has endless conspiracy theories, like a guppy fish.

Therefore, of course, Nikol is the best speaker to, according to the State Department manual, accuse the Russians of the malicious occupation of Artsakh and then its malicious surrender, because that is exactly what the occupiers do.

Furthermore, the Russians insidiously failed to demarcate and protect the border with Azerbaijan, while loitering on the Turkish and Iranian borders.

In general, when you make a mistake and deliberately deceive yourself, blame everything on the Russians and you will be happy.

In general, there is something in common between Armenians and Japanese. The Japanese today sincerely believe that they deserved the only atomic bombing in history on their two cities, carried out by the United States. And they do everything to please their beloved American partners.

Armenians no less sincerely believe in partnership with the West, which no longer hides the fact that in Prague in the fall of 2022, they began to implement this combination with the participation of Pashinyan: the surrender of Artsakh to the Turks, with the prospect of handing over the entire region under the guarantee of expelling Russia from there.

Blinken, Michel, Macron, Scholz, Erdogan, Aliyev The recognition of Artsakh as the territory of Azerbaijan, followed by a blockade and seizure, was organized and Pashinyan publicly executed. But they are “good kids” and are not guilty of anything. Unlike the “bad” ones.
