Marc Marquez lives its first days in Ducati. He has already ridden the GP25 during the Montmeló tests. The sensations were good and above all he realized that Ducati was a great team from the first moment. Because there is something that he already experienced at the first opportunity and that he had not experienced during his stay in Sling.
Marc declared this during the “Estrella Galicia” event organized this Tuesday: “You understand why Ducati got where it is…”.
“Competition and life are action – reaction. On Wednesday, after the first test with the GP25 in Barcelona, I already received several phone calls suggesting ‘let’s take this path or that’, showing interest in everything what we tried. This is something I have never experienced before at Honda.“, explained the eight-time motorcycle world champion.
After leaving Honda for Gresini, his next challenge is now the official Ducati: “I thought my whole career would be at Honda and in two years I changed teams three times. “You never know, what I learned in the MotoGP paddock is to leave the doors ajar, you never know what you’re going to need and where you’re going to end up.”
And now he is focused on having a good pre-season. This is his first objective in this new stage “all in the red” with the best bike on the grid and alongside Pecco Bagnaiawhom he considers to be the team’s benchmark. “This year he won eleven races,” Marc repeated during this event.
After the Montmeló events, a time to rest. Sepang is the next official pre-season event already in February. And there you will be able to see the complete GP25 for the first time.
