“It is planned to replace old public transport vehicles, such as the buses that circulate on route 525.”
This was stated by Tarlan Safarov, deputy director of the Baku regional office of the Azerbaijan Surface Transport Agency (AYNA), in response to the question “Trend”.
He said that currently all attention is focused on buses running in the Sumgayit-Baku direction.
“Because we think that the solution to the traffic jam in the Sumgayit-Baku direction lies in the development of public transportation.
Therefore, it is planned to increase and modernize the number of buses on this line.”
