“Customers order a set from the menu of the restaurant they come to, which includes various types of food shown in the image according to their taste. However, sometimes there is a big difference between what is offered on the menu and what is served.”
Baku TV conducted a survey among residents of the capital.
“Either the portion is small or it is not included in the dish indicated on the menu. I went to the restaurant and ordered a dish, but instead they brought something else,” residents expressed their dissatisfaction with the service of some restaurants.
Eyyub Huseynov, president of the Union of Free Consumers, noted that this is a violation of consumer rights:
“These matters are supervised by the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Service under the Ministry of Economy. When the customer encounters situations of this type, he must take a photograph of the event, keep the cash receipt and request said institution compensation for the damage.”
