The pulse of the world beat in Baku for two weeks. Within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Azerbaijan, more than 75 thousand guests and a large number of representatives of foreign media visited our country and witnessed the development of Azerbaijan.
Of course, holding such global events in our country is a manifestation of great confidence in our country.
I wonder how it affected the holding of COP29 in Azerbaijan and the arrival of numerous guests to our country in various commercial and economic fields.
Elnur Farzaliyev, a real estate expert, stated that the rental price of apartments increased during COP29:
“In addition to official guests, NGOs and media representatives from other countries rented houses for daily rent in newly built buildings. The rental price of apartments went up that day before. A house that cost 100 manats per day It was valued between 300 and 400 manats. The daily rent for multi-room houses of the villa type was 500 manats and 1,000 manats increased as manats.
Tourism expert Jeyhun Ashurov stated that events like COP29 play a very positive role in the recognition of Azerbaijan as a tourist destination and in increasing the number of tourists coming to the country:
“Azerbaijan was able to show the country as a tourist destination to foreign citizens from different countries of the world and for the first time in the history of the COP the “Tourism Declaration” was adopted.
