What is known about Ahmed Verba on social media
Werbe was one of the founders of Hezbollah and participated in its first military operations against Israel following the outbreak of the First Lebanon War in 1982.
In 1984, Werbe was arrested by Israeli forces in Lebanon after participating in the bombing of the headquarters of American and French peacekeepers in Beirut. This sabotage attack was one of the largest in recent history and killed 307 people. It targeted military units participating in a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon during the civil war.
After his release, Verbe continued his terrorist activities and became one of the leaders of the ambush of the Israeli special forces Shayetet 13 in 1997.
He held important positions in Hezbollah’s central training department and was responsible for training fighters of the Raduan Forces. These forces are considered Hezbollah’s elite unit and play an important role in its military operations.
Verbe was responsible for human development in several Hezbollah units, training new members and developing combat tactics. After the elimination of commander Wissam al-Tawil, Verbe returned to head Hezbollah’s Central Training Unit and continued to direct the Raduan Forces’ operations.
His elimination was a major blow to Hezbollah, as Verbe was a key military leader with extensive experience who played an important role in the development and operation of the group.
