THE Community of Madrid already published this Thursday the model of EvAU exam of the Community of Madrid for the 2024/2025 academic year. Each model is structure in different blocks according to basic knowledge. Students will be able to choose “in certain sections from several questions, but without reducing the knowledge and skills which are the subject of the evaluation”, detailed the Commission. The objective of this measure is prevent students from omitting part of the program without preparing and without aiming for the highest score, as has happened since the last test change in 2020 following covid-19.
Among the three types of questions, open, semi-constructed or closed, at least 70% of the score must be awarded to the first two. Additionally, 20% of the test will have to be skills-based, i.e. the student will have to connect the skills and knowledge acquired in various subjects to solve real-world problems.
Thematic committees may include optional questions, without this reducing the “number of specific skills object of evaluation”. This applies to Madrid, where universities have published the 2025 tests, as is the case of Carlos III University and the Complutense University of Madrid.
