In the United States, a 74-year-old man was attacked by a mother bear and her three cubs, but managed to survive the attack.

In Colorado, bears broke into a home through an open door. The old man tried to scare them away with a chair, but failed. The bear threw the chair against the wall, injuring the man in the neck, stomach, arms and legs.
The man later managed to enter the bedroom, close the door and ask the local sheriff for help. With the help of the sheriff, the man was rescued and treated.
The bears were later found in the trees near the man’s home and neutralized.
The publication notes that the incident is the first recorded case of a bear attack in Colorado this year. In 2023, six cases of this type were recorded.
