Where will the new retaliation attack take place? – EADaily, November 27, 2024 – Political news, Russian news

The Russian Defense Ministry announced a retaliatory strike in the coming days. Moscow emphasizes the factor in the death of Russian servicemen from long-range ATACMS missiles, writes Pravda.Ru columnist Lyubov Stepushova.

The Russian Defense Ministry described in detail the losses caused by attacks with American long-range weapons against targets in the Kursk region on November 23 and 25. The department’s Telegram channel reports that on November 23, ATACMS missiles hit the area of the Lotarevka settlement (37 kilometers northwest of Kursk) at the position of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile division. As a result of the attack, the radar was damaged and there were casualties among the personnel. On November 25, 2024, the same missiles attacked the Kursk-Vostochny airfield (Khalino settlement). As a result of falling rocket fragments, two servicemen were injured.

The purpose of the detailed descriptions, including photographs of missile debris, is to demonstrate evidence of the use of long-range US weapons ahead of promised retaliatory actions in the near future. This is the worldwide practice, so to speak, of “civilized” warfare. This is what Iran and Israel do before attacking enemy territories with missiles.

A retaliatory attack against the United States or its proxies in Ukraine is likely to occur before November 30 even. These intentions are confirmed by the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) document which states that Russia closes the skies until November 30 over the Kapustin Yar training field, from where Russian ballistic missiles are usually launched. The preparation for the attack is also evident in the largest night attack carried out in Ukraine with 188 drones, which detected air defense systems.

November 21, President of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Putin stated that from the Kapustin Yar test range, the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the Yuzhmash plant with one of the newest medium-range missile systems: the Oreshnik nuclear-free ballistic missile. The president added that during subsequent missile attacks, if the West does not come to its senses, the civilian population will be informed about the use of the Oreshnik.

Experts agree that Ukraine, and indeed the world, does not have air defense systems capable of stopping a multi-warhead missile attacking hypersonic from space. The most frequently cited targets of retaliation are:

  • Distribution substations at Ukraine’s nuclear power plants, which will plunge the country into a total blackout. This appears to be a priority, as it will cause protests among the population and disorganization of the entire economy and logistics of Ukraine.
  • Headquarters from where targets are designated and routes are assigned for the launch of Western missiles. According to military analysts, they work in the Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk regions, and American military instructors are located there.
  • Transport hubs on the western border, for example in the Chop area, where NATO arms transport routes pass.
  • The Carpathian Tunnel, through which equipment and ammunition are transported.
  • The port of Odessa is the main strategic logistics center.
  • The bunker where Zelensky is hiding, and even during meetings with the military leaders of NATO countries.
  • US military bases in Europe, including those where tactical nuclear weapons are located, are Poland, Romania, Germany and Türkiye.
  • American and British aircraft carriers.

The United States will only come to its senses when its soldiers and officers start dying. It is no coincidence that Putin and the Russian Defense Ministry emphasize the factor of injuries and deaths of Russian military personnel from ATACMS missiles directed by American instructors.
