Kamila Dadashzade, appointed new rector of the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan, worked for a long time in the lovers’ association.
Oku.Az xAs an example of this, Kamila Dadashzadeh, who made great contributions to the development of national ethnomusicology, defended her dissertation in 2000 on the topic “On the analysis of the semiotic principles of Azerbaijani lovers in epic atmospheres.”
He is the author of about 40 scientific articles, monographs, including the monograph “The Sign System of the Epic”, the textbook “History of Music” and a large number of programmatic and methodical recommendations.
He is one of the experts and one of the authors of the report “Cultural Policy of Azerbaijan” prepared by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the STAGE project of the Council of Europe.
Until this appointment, K. Dadashzade was director of the Department of History and Theory of Music at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
He is a doctor in philosophy, a professor. Kamila Dadashzade is a member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
