According to Xezerxeber.az, a doctor’s consultation in private hospitals costs between 30 and 80 manats, and tests start at 50-100 manats. There are also tests with prices ranging from 350 to 500 manats.
In some private hospitals, the prices for “check-up” examinations exceed people’s monthly income.
Residents of the capital also say that the price of services offered in medical institutions is high.
Adil Geybulla, a well-known surgeon and doctor of medical sciences, said that if compulsory health insurance covers all branches of medicine, the prices in private hospitals may also change.
