“Due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, there are no spare parts for cars made in Russia. It is difficult to find original Russian spare parts.”
Transport expert Aslan Asadov said this in a statement to Gaynarinfo, clarifying the information about the low demand for Russian-made cars on the car market.
According to him, cars made in China dominate the market today:
“A citizen thinks that if he buys a Russian-made car, he will not be able to find spare parts when a problem arises. Therefore, he spends a little more and buys a normal car. This is one of the main reasons. Most spare parts for cars are of poor quality, purchased parts are not used for years. The second reason is the difference in fuel consumption of Russian cars. Only people with a small budget buy them.
Aslan Asadov added that problems with spare parts are putting people off Russian-made cars:
“If the parts purchased before worked for a year, today they do not last even three months. Spare parts for machines are of very poor quality. Low-quality parts made in China end up in Azerbaijan. It is true that China also has quality products, but few of them are brought to us.”
Aslan Asadov announced the price of the cheapest cars on the market today:
“A Russian-made car can be bought on the market for 4,000 or 5,000.”
It should be noted that the car markets have been stagnant for months. Most importantly, interest in Russian-made cars has also declined on the market.
