“On September 21, the Tovuz District Police Department received an official request that a fan did not follow public rules and damaged stadium property during the Turan Tovuz-Araz Nakhchivan match held at the Tovuz city stadium. As a result of the relevant measures taken by the police officers, Sh Alizade, a resident of the city of Baku, was detained and taken to the police department. According to the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offences, a protocol was drawn up against the person and sent to the court. According to the court’s decision, Sh Alizade was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention.”
It should be noted that the match between Turan Tovuz and Araz-Nakhchivan ended with a victory for the representative of Nakhchivan with a score of 2:1.
