If the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) does not approve a Western resolution against Iran this week, Tehran could refuse to further increase its stockpile of 60% enriched uranium.
Oku.Az “Reuters” reported about this with reference to the organization’s report.
It should be noted that Iran has already taken preparatory measures to stop enrichment.
Stockpiles of UF6 enriched up to 60% (uranium hexafluoride) increased from 164.7 kg to 182.3 kg since August. According to the IAEA, 42 kg of uranium enriched to 60% is theoretically enough to make a nuclear bomb with higher enrichment.
Tehran also reportedly agreed to consider allowing four additional IAEA inspectors into the country.
