Will it be difficult for Afghan drugs to reach Europe?

“The opening of the Zangezur corridor is dangerous for Iran because it could lose the country’s main revenues.”

This was stated by Turan Ibrahimov, head of the Baku TV department.

He pointed out that we are talking about the income that the Islamic Republic of Iran obtains through illegal transit:

“The entire flow from Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, Central Asia to Europe is now going to Iran along with illegal elements. We are talking about illegal drugs. If the Zangezur Corridor is opened, the Middle Corridor will work and everything will be under control, transparent and visible, at this moment there will be no need for illegal transit through Iran.”
