“Special taxis will be able to use the COP29 lanes built to facilitate the movement of participants in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).”
This was reported by Anar Rzayev, chairman of the board of directors of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, in a briefing on the presentation of the transport plan that will be implemented during COP29.
He said that these taxis are red taxis with electric motors: “Citizens and event participants can use ordinary taxis during the days of the conference. However, the entry of these taxis to the COP29 roads will be restricted.”
