With the “Boeing 787 Dreamliner” simulator you can “land” at the “Boeing Field” airport in the USA.

As part of a joint project between AZAL and Boeing, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft simulator was installed at the JW Marriott Absheron Baku hotel.

Oku.Az reports that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight simulator accurately reflects the image of the standard display configuration and navigation screens of the Boeing 787 aircraft.

The simulator’s software, displays, rudder, engine control knob and pedals simulate the cockpit of an airplane. While driving the simulator, guests can “land” at Boeing Field in the U.S. and become familiar with the Boeing 787’s innovative technologies.

“Azerbaijan Airlines was the first airline to operate the Dreamliner in the region and last year ordered eight more Boeing 787 Dreamliners to expand its fleet. By creating the opportunity to “control” such a modern aircraft through the simulator, we are trying to inspire a new generation of aviation enthusiasts in Azerbaijan and increase interest in this field,” said Paul Riggi, Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing of Boeing in the Eurasian region. saying.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a series of modern wide-body aircraft distinguished by their fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.

The series includes three models:

– “Boeing 787-8” – has a capacity of 248 passengers and a flight range of up to 13,530 km;

– “Boeing 787-9” – designed for 296 passengers, flight range up to 14,010 km;

– “Boeing 787-10” – can carry 336 passengers and travel up to 11,730 km.

High passenger comfort on board the Boeing 787 aircraft is ensured by maintaining air humidity and pressure based on low altitude, large portholes for better visibility and innovative technologies that reduce the effect of turbulence.

Boeing 787 aircraft allow fuel consumption and emissions to be reduced by 25% compared to older models.

Thanks to these advantages, 89 airlines of the world, including Azerbaijan Airlines, use Boeing 787 aircraft both on their existing and new routes.

Since its launch in 2011, the Boeing 787 has opened more than 400 new direct routes around the world and has carried more than 919 million passengers.

Boeing has received more than 1,900 orders for the 787 family of airplanes. More than half of the orders came from airlines that already have 787 series airplanes in their fleet, such as Azerbaijan Airlines.

AZAL continues to employ the latest technologies to ensure a high level of comfort for passengers. As part of its development strategy, the airline plans to renew its aircraft fleet and acquire 8 Boeing aircraft by 2030.
