The mayor of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), José Julián Gregorio, indicated that the new outpatient consultation building of Marazuela Park Hospital It will be used to continue “the growth of the city and the creation of jobs”, as well as to improve services to the residents of Talavera “in an area as important as health”.
This is how he spoke during the inauguration ceremony of the new consultation center, where he was accompanied by Ignacio Eyriès, general director of the Caser Group; Mario Abajo, Director of Services of the Caser Group; Alejandro Rey, general director of Hospitales Parque; Pedro Uceda, director of the Parque Marazuela Hospital and José María Sanz, architect of the project.
Gregorio was able to appreciate first-hand the new facilities and services that this center will offer to Talaverans and residents of the region, highlighting its “modern facilities and its ability to offer a comprehensive service of specialized medical care.”
The mayor recognized the great work of José María Sanz, architect of the project, “in the renovation of an emblematic building of the city, which for a long time housed the main headquarters of Caja Rural, and which today houses three floors renovated until ‘now. a total of nine consultations, two offices and four dressing rooms.
The facilities have been divided in such a way that on the ground floor there are two specialty consultations and a dental consultation, the first floor is dedicated to physiotherapy in its entirety with two offices, a consultation and four dressing rooms; while on the second floor there are five consultations for the specialties of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, women’s medicine, aesthetic medicine, nutrition and dentistry. In addition, the building still has two additional floors for future expansions.
Furthermore, in addition to the new building, over the last three years, a complete renovation of facilities with new diagnostic and operating room equipment.
Gregorio thanked the Caser Group and all those who make up the Parque Marazuela Hospital, for “betting on Talavera and contributing to the growth of the city”, since they have provided work since 1955, when they acquired the Marazuela Clinic, and this time They employ 100 workers and 50 healthcare professionals. Additionally, with the new opening, they have hired 18 more people and they hope to double that number within a year.
The mayor highlighted that every year “more than 35,000 patients are treated in the facilities of the Parque Marazuela Hospital”, and highlighted “the great work of the professionals and all the people who take care of our health”.
