Woman faces three years in prison after being caught delivering less than half a gram of cocaine to another person

The Provincial Court of Castellón is trying this Thursday, September 5, a woman for whom the prosecution initially requested a three-year prison sentence as the alleged perpetrator of a crime. crime against public health.

Specifically, the defendant was arrested on July 25, 2023 in the Grao neighborhood of Castellón when she allegedly delivered to another person a white plastic package containing 0.45 grams of cocaine. According to the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, later, among her personal effects, another similar package containing 0.31 grams of the same narcotic substance was seized.

For all these reasons, the woman faces a demand for three years in prison from the Prosecutor’s Office in the trial scheduled for next Thursday in the second section of the Castellón court.
