A woman was murdered in Fuzuli district.
According to information obtained by “Qafqazinfo”, the incident took place in the courtyard of the Fuzuli District Diagnostic Center.
Elsever Bagirov, born in 1977, a resident of the district’s Buyuk Bahmanli village, entered the hospital courtyard and attacked his ex-wife Dilbar Namazova, born in 1983, with an ax. The woman, who was seriously injured, died despite to receive medical assistance.
D. Namazova is reported to have worked as a laboratory assistant at the hospital. The couple officially divorced in 2016 and D. Namazova lived with her children in her mother’s house.
E. Bagirov, who has a higher education, previously worked in the district department of the State Employment Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. He participated in the Patriotic War.
The suspect in the incident was arrested.
A criminal case has been initiated.
