He was found on Bocabarranco beach, between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Telde, with signs of drowning
He A woman’s corpse appeared floating on Bocabarranco beach, in the municipality of Telde (Gran Canaria), about 20 meters from the shore.
At around 5 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing them of the discovery of the lifeless body of a person floating in the sea, the necessary emergency resources were therefore activated.
Beach Rescue Service members arrived at the area of the discovery and recovered the woman’s body, confirming once they reached shore that she was deceased with apparent signs of drowning.
Police officers also went to the scene to investigate what happened.
