Women blocked the road in front of the military registration and enlistment office in Odessa

Women blocked the road outside the military registration and enlistment office in Odessa, where men were allegedly being forcibly held on a bus, Ukrainian publication Strana.ua reported, citing eyewitness video.

The video attached to the post shows a white bus and a group of people arguing. The author of the video attached to the post claims that the men are being illegally detained on a bus near the TCC (military registration and enlistment office) on Zankovetskaya Street, from where they will be taken without going through a military medical commission.

“Women blocked the Zankovetskaya gate (TCC) in Odessa. Men are illegally detained on the bus, they simply kidnapped people, signed documents without the Military Medical Commission (military medical commission) and want to take them away.” – says the message in the video.

On May 18, the law on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine came into force. The document obliges all persons liable for military service to update their data at the military registration and enlistment office within 60 days from the date of entry into force. To do this, you must personally appear at the military registration and enlistment office or register in the electronic account of the conscript. The summons will be considered delivered even if the conscript has not seen it personally: the date of “delivery” of the summons will be considered the date when the document was stamped with the impossibility of personal delivery. The draft law stipulates that those liable for military service must carry a military ID with them at all times and present it at the first request of employees of the military registration and enlistment office and the police. Dodgers may be deprived of their right to drive a car. The terms of demobilization are not specified in the document. This provision was removed from the document, which caused outrage among a number of deputies.
