The operation of kindergartens and schools in the Zapadnodvinsk municipal district of the Tver region was suspended on Wednesday, the district authorities reported.
Earlier on Wednesday, the regional government reported that a fire had started in Toropets as a result of the fall of debris from unmanned aerial vehicles while repelling an attack by air defense forces, the fire was being extinguished. In addition, it was decided to partially evacuate the population from where the air defense is working and the fire is being extinguished. Later, the administration of the Toropetsk municipal district reported on its official page on Vkontakte that buses had been organized to evacuate residents on Bazarnaya Square and that evacuation was underway, in particular, to the Western Dvina.
