World Chess Olympiad: Azerbaijani national teams held their final match

Azerbaijan’s men’s national team played its final match at the 45th World Chess Olympiad in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Oku.Az reports that the national team won 3:1 against Brazil on matchday 11.

Aydin Suleymanli – Luiz Paolo Supi 0.5:0.5

Nijat Abasov – Alexander Fier 0.5:0.5

Rauf Mammadov – Renato Quintiliano 1:0

Shahriyar Mammadyarov – Diego Di Berardino 1:0

Previously, the team beat Montenegro (3-1), Jordan (3-5-0.5), Finland (3-5-0.5), Moldova (3-1), Kazakhstan (3-1) and Cuba (3-1), India (1-3) and Lithuania (1.5-2.5), and drew with Italy (2-2) and Greece (2-2).

Azerbaijani women’s team lost 0.5:3.5 in the XI round of the 45th World Chess Olympiad held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Rameshbabu Vaishali – Ulviyya Fataliyeva 0.5:0.5

Deshmukh Divya – Govhar Beidullayeva 1:0

Vantika Agraval – Mrs. Baladjayeva 1:0

Following this victory, India finished first in the 45th World Chess Olympiad in the women’s competition.

It should be noted that our women’s team previously beat Slovenia (3-1), Nicaragua (4-0), Australia (3-1), Vietnam (2.5-1.5), Switzerland (4-0), Argentina and tied with Ukraine and Italy (2-2), and lost to Kazakhstan 1-3.
