Azerbaijani men’s and women’s national teams will play their fourth round matches at the 45th World Chess Olympiad in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, on Monday.
Oku.Az reports that the men’s team will face Montenegro.
The women’s team will face Slovenia.
It should be noted that our men’s team defeated Jordan (3.5:0.5), Finland (3.5:0.5) and Moldova (3:1). Our women’s team defeated Nicaragua (4-0) and Australia (3-1) and tied with Argentina 2-2.
The men’s team captained by Teymur Rajabov included Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, Nijat Abasov, Aydin Suleymanli and Muhammad Muradli.
The women’s team, captained by Mikhail Shereshevsky, consists of Gunay Mammadzadeh, Govhar Beidullayeva, Khanim Balajayeva, Ulviyya Fataliyeva and Gulnar Mammadova.
