Azerbaijan’s men’s and women’s national teams will hold their next match today at the 45th World Chess Olympiad in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Oku.Az reports that the men’s team will face Finland in the second round.
Our women’s national team will put Australia to the test.
It should be noted that in the first round our men’s team defeated Jordan 3.5:0.5. Our women’s team defeated Nicaragua 4:0.
The men’s team captained by Teymur Rajabov included Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, Nijat Abasov, Aydin Suleymanli and Muhammad Muradli.
The women’s team, captained by Mikhail Shereshevsky, consists of Gunay Mammadzadeh, Govhar Beidullayeva, Khanim Balajayeva, Ulviyya Fataliyeva and Gulnar Mammadovan.
