In the southern Indian state of Kerala, the dangerous Nipah virus has come to life again. A 24-year-old student died from this terrible disease. Before that, in July this year, a 14-year-old boy died from the same virus.

The student reportedly developed fever symptoms on September 4 and passed away five days later. A test of his blood sample confirmed the Nipah virus infection. Currently, 151 people who were in contact with the deceased youth are under strict medical supervision to prevent further spread of the virus.
Please note that the World Health Organization classifies Nipah virus as a priority pathogen due to its ability to cause large-scale epidemics. There is currently no vaccine to prevent infection and no effective drugs to treat the disease. does not exist.
