Ismayil Talibli Street in the capital’s Yasamal district was invaded by worms.
According to neighbors, the worms even entered the houses.
“It started slowly. It came to eat from the top of the tree. It ate the tree completely, and now it started eating us. We can’t stay, our flesh trembles. We hang the clothes, and when we pick them up they come up, they are covered with worms No matter how much we hit them, they don’t fall, where do we call, they say it’s not us,” he expressed his displeasure.
In this regard, the Greening Union of the Executive Branch of the city of Baku reported that measures are being taken to combat the American butterfly, which is harmful to trees. Employees have also intervened on Ismayil Talibli Street in Yasamal district and work is underway to eliminate the problem.
