A Vox advisor to Madrid City Hall, Ignacio Ansaldo, accused a colleague from Más Madrid to be collected from Spaniards being of Salvadoran origin. A clearly xenophobic attack from the party led by Santiago Abascal which adds to its history of contempt of this nature.
“Every time this lady speaks in a commission or in plenary session, she calls us a genocide. I think this lady comes from El Salvador. I don’t know if he has nationality, but he lives in Spain and earns his income from the Spanish. Let him study a little history and stop instilling the black legend. Thank you very much,” said the Vox advisor.
Madrid requested the resignation of Vox advisor Ignacio Ansaldo for his behavior “racist and xenophobic” against councilor Carolina Elías, of Salvadoran origin and “as Spanish” as him.
The request for resignation came after what happened in the Committee on Urban Planning, Environment and Mobility due to an advertising campaign by the Catholic and Propagandist Association for Hispanic Heritage Day, Who the advisor called him a “colonialist.”
