“60 decisions are expected to be adopted at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku in November.”
The “Report” reports that this was stated by Yalchin Rafiyev, COP29 chief negotiator, at the meeting of climate and development ministers (C&DM) within the framework of the second day of Pre-COP29 held in Baku.
The chief negotiator said the main ones are the formation of climate finance and carbon markets.
According to Y. Rafiyev, the adoption of these two decisions will be a historic achievement.
