“Yango Azerbaijan” and “Unibank” will increase the number of hybrid cars in Baku

Yango Azerbaijan, one of the leading taxi booking services in Azerbaijan, has entered into a strategic partnership with Unibank.

Within the framework of this cooperation, 500 new hybrid vehicles will be used in four partner taxi fleets of “Yango” operating in Baku. Drivers will begin fulfilling orders for these cars in late 2024.

Taxi fleets will be able to purchase these vehicles on preferential credit conditions from Unibank, while Yango Azerbaijan will act as guarantor. “Yango” partners plan to purchase new cars of the “BYD Qin Plus” model.

The main goal of cooperation between “Yango” and “Unibank” is to make the taxi service in Baku safer and more comfortable. The increase in the number of hybrid cars also makes it possible to offer customers an environmentally friendly service.

“This initiative is an integral part of our long-term program to renew the vehicle fleet of our partners in Baku. Previously, we helped them purchase more than 1,000 new cars, which allowed us to significantly increase the level of taxi service in Baku “Our next goal for 2024-2025 is to help our partners purchase more than 4,000 new cars,” said Mushvig Hasanov, CEO of Yango Azerbaijan.
