The “Ana-bala” park, located in the Yeni Guneshli settlement, Surakhani district of Baku, is abandoned.
Although repair work began in the area in 2011, no work has been carried out in one of the largest parks in the region for 13 years.
Residents say they were told years ago that a “Sunny Recreation Center” would be established in the area. According to the project, a square with a fountain, a kindergarten, a kindergarten and a skating rink would be built in the recreation center. However, at that time, materials brought to the park for construction work were left in the same way they were placed.
Citizens are unhappy with the current state of the only park situated in Yeni Guneshli to spend their leisure time.
“I have lived here since the 90s. Repair work has started and stopped many times in the park. They say the money has run out, but the repairs will continue in the future. Currently there is no place to spend free time. time in Guneshli,” the resident complained.
