Yes, there was a financing system agreed between CCAA for the reception of minors

The Secretary of State for Youth and Children, Rubén Pérez, denied the “main obstacle” that the Popular Party (PP) is using to oppose the reform of article 35 of the law. Immigration Lawwith which intended to “accelerate” the distribution of migrant minors in the different autonomous communities.

From Genoa, they criticize the fact that the Executive has not presented a long-term financing plan To this end, however, this Thursday on Al Rojo Vivo, Pérez argued that “These are fallacious arguments”since “this modification included a financing system, because it is the same one that now allows the transfer of the 4×7.

In fact, Pérez insisted that “this model of transferring minors from Ceuta and the Canary Islands is a model that the Government has agreed with the autonomous communities”, and that the reason for the reform of this part of the immigration law lies in the objective of this distribution “was more agile and more restrictive”. He even stressed that it was obtained after “an intense debate in July”, while calling for “resuming the path of dialogue”.

Migration has always been a problem for SpainHowever, the arrival of migrant minors a few years ago has constituted an “anecdotal” phenomenon that “today it is something structural.” That is why “a readjustment of the minor systems of all the autonomous communities” is necessary.
