The young data and artificial intelligence consultant, who is beginning her fourth year at the consulting firm Onepoint, does not plan to change employers for the moment. The young engineer, who trained in data science and artificial intelligence during her last year of school, had not really thought about the consulting sector. Due to recommendations from former Epita students – very present in Onepoint –, this math enthusiast, who considers AI as “a great tool” at the service of “concrete projects”, decide to apply. “I didn’t want to find myself in a big box, and be told I was too young to cover strategy or be privy to important information. “I wanted people to trust me right away.”, confesses the young woman, delighted with the organization more than “horizontal” that reigns in the company. If girls are scarce in engineering schools and in training related to artificial intelligence, Emma Payán’s professional career is no exception. “The job market for engineers is phenomenal, says enthusiastically Sylvain Goussot, director of Epita. The employment rate six months after graduation is 93%. The remaining 7% continue their studies..
