According to Diario Sur, a 33-year-old off-duty firefighter was arrested after allegedly brutally beating a sixty-year-old neighbor in Malaga. The events occurred on August 29 in the Carretera de Cádiz neighborhood, the capital of the Costa del Sol.
Apparently, it all happened when the inmate began to harass and repeatedly reproach the attacked person for walking down the street looking at the screen of his mobile phone. A comment by the injured person about the young firefighter’s dog allegedly caused the inmate to react violently, throwing himself at his neighbor, whom he allegedly hit and kicked several times and made death threats.
According to Diario SUR, both ended up in hospital. The off-duty firefighter was transferred to the Regional University Hospital of Malaga and the sixty-year-old neighbor to the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital in Malaga.
