The injured man was hospitalized and reported for gender-based violence
A 27-year-old man was injured in the Valencian town of Beniarjó when he was stabbed in the chest with a knife by a friend he had been fighting with, when the latter intervened to ddefend the partner of the attacked personreported for gender-based violence.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. from Saturday to Sunday, while the injured man was reportedly exercising. abuse about his partner, as confirmed by sources from the Civil Guard.
In the heat of the argument, a friend of the two men tried to defend the woman and a fight broke out between the two men, during which the first attacked the alleged attacker with a knife.
A SAMU unit was mobilised to the scene of the incident, which transported the injured in serious condition at the hospital in Gandía, the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) said.
The Civil Guard arrested the couple’s friend for allegedly stabbing the 27-year-old man, who in turn was reported by gender violence.
