The association warned that, among minors, “misuse and inadequate use of the Internet or networks can lead to problems of addiction to these networks, difficulties with social integration, lack of self-esteem, violent behavior, being the victim of harassment or sexual blackmail, mental health problems…”.

In this sense, 39% of parents admit to not controlling what their children see on their cell phone, tablet or via the Internet, according to a study investigation commissioned from Cíes by Irache.
On the other hand, parents are giving their children cell phones earlier and earlier.
