“Türkiye is one of the countries most affected by climate change.”
These words Oku.AzPresident of the Association of Green Hydrogen Producers in his statement Yusuf Gunay saying.
He said that forest fires and rainfall have increased recently in Türkiye.
“Global warming also affects water sources. We, like Turkey, feel global warming closely. People have been educated about it. If our country had 30,000 MW of electrical energy until 20 years ago, today it has 31,000 MW , and even more. Renewable energy has the strength. Our investments in this field continue and will continue.
Yusuf Gunay noted that COP29 was very well organized:
“The organization is very good. Everything is in its place. I came to Baku 15 years ago. During this time, very notable development has occurred in Baku. The city has become very beautiful. Currently, our meetings related to COP29 are ongoing. We are especially glad that the organization is in brotherly Azerbaijan.
The world is determined to fight global warming. There is a society that accepts global warming as an imminent threat. Although there is sometimes confusion and hesitation during the meetings, we see that the world is determined to prevent and fight global warming for humanity. Everyone knows that the transition to green energy is inevitable. “We are waiting for a time in the world where it switches to hydrogen based on solar and wind energy.”
He considers being in Baku a happy event:
“It is gratifying to be in Baku. Our Azerbaijani brothers come to us with joy when they see us. This makes us happy. There is an incredible increase in the well-being of Azerbaijan. The beauty of Baku attracts attention. Many green areas have been built new and magnificent buildings. I am thinking of returning to Baku very soon.
