The Russian side is developing measures in response to the restrictions imposed by the US authorities on Russian media, said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova on Channel One.
“The Russian executive is reacting, all political assessments have been made. As for the response measures, they will be developed.” — the diplomat said, TASS reports.
Zakharova stressed the need for a consolidated reaction in Russian society to such illegal restrictions.
As reported, on September 13, the US Secretary of State Antonio Blinken announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russian media outlets MIA Rossiya Segodnya, ANO TV-Novosti and NPO Eurasia.
