The Minister of Defense gave specific instructions on constantly maintaining the combat capability of the troops at a high level, increasing vigilance and readiness to take preventive measures against all probable provocations by the revanchist forces on the conventional border.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov highly appreciated the organization of the fifth anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX”, held at the Baku Exhibition Center from September 24 to 26 of this year, and the exhibition of weapons samples and modern equipment produced in our country and other advanced countries on the stands.
It was brought to the attention of the meeting participants that one of the main requirements is to thoroughly study the capabilities of new weapons, equipment and means of air attack included in the arsenal of the Azerbaijani army, as well as their correct operation. , as well as effective combat application in day and night conditions.
The importance of effectively organizing the service of troops in military units, clearing our territories of mines and unexploded ordnance in cooperation with other state institutions, improving engineering and fortifying positions located in steep relief and harsh climatic conditions and maintaining highways safety in constant work order was emphasized.
