Zatulin’s act is an attempt to attack the alliance between Azerbaijan and Russia.

Konstantin Zatulin’s congratulatory speech to the Karabakh separatists is an attempt to attack the alliance relations between the two countries, the importance of which was stressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his last state visit to Azerbaijan.

Rizvan Nabiyev, Ph.D. in Political Sciences, the leading candidate for deputy from the second electoral district No. 49 of Absheron, spoke on “Report” about the congratulatory speech of Russian politician Konstantin Zatulin to the Karabakh separatists on the anniversary of the creation of the so-called regime.

According to him, Zatulin tried to propose another absurd appeal:

“If this were not the case, he would not have addressed a congratulatory speech to representatives of the regime that Armenia turned its back on, who would be held accountable for supporting terrorism, crimes against humanity and other illegal acts. In Zatulin’s own world, it could serve to resurrect a regime that was thrown into the dustbin of history. This act, which he considered a political step, is in fact a failed, very fruitless step. It is rather a belated confession of a romantic dreamer. Can such a senseless and inappropriate appeal be interpreted by a member of the United Russia party?

R. Nabiyev stressed that the “events of 2020-2023” to which the Russian politician refers went down in history as the Patriotic War and local anti-terrorist operations that put an end to 30 years of separatism, occupation, terrorism and human suffering:

“Thanks to this, new geopolitical realities have emerged in the region and real conditions have been created for ensuring peace, stability and security. Addressing Zatulin, I would like to state that in the context of current events, it is necessary to once and for all stop actions that could harm regional cooperation in the Caucasus region.”

Recalling that the Azerbaijani state restored the universally accepted and violated principles of international law with its own resources, the politician believes that in this way official Baku ensured the obligatory observance of the principles:

“Nowadays, those who want to occupy a place in real politics should emphasize their importance and should not pursue foolish dreams, which may cause suffering and bloodshed to the people, and which are calculated to create conflicts.”
