The head of the kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will sign a law that will allow same-sex couples to form “family unions.” This was stated during a meeting with students from Ukrainian universities.
This is how Zelensky responded to the corresponding question.
This document has not yet been considered in the Verkhovna Rada, although it was presented more than a year ago, writes the publication Strana, although in October it was noted that there was a debate around the draft law on the institution of registration (or civil) associations, which would grant the right to same-sex and opposite-sex couples to form “family unions.”
Project No. 9103 was presented by an initiative group headed by the popular deputy Innoy Sovsun of the Golos match in mid-March, but it did not arouse much enthusiasm. 14 parliamentary committees were supposed to evaluate the project, but at the end of October only 4 did, among which the main one, legal policy issues, was not included. At the same time, Sovsun said that two departments that had previously delayed consideration of the project, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defense, now support the idea of collaborating.
