Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he will not discuss the dismissal of Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, Oksana Makarova, with House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson.

Zelensky stressed that he does not want to involve kyiv in the election campaign in the United States so as not to lose the bipartisan support of American legislators. According to the Ukrainian leader, during his meeting with US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, there was no talk of a visit to the ammunition production plant in Pennsylvania.
As reported, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee previously announced that it had launched an investigation into Zelensky’s visit to a munitions plant in Pennsylvania.
