“If Russian President Vladimir Putin does not agree to sit down at the negotiating table, Ukraine will retain the occupied Russian territories.”
Oku.Az President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with NBC News.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine will keep the territory because it is part of its “victory plan” to end the war. He added that he will present this proposal to international partners such as the United States.
“For now, we need it,” he said of the Russian territory currently held by Ukraine.
At the same time, Zelensky said he cannot discuss whether Ukraine is trying to seize more Russian territory.
“I can’t talk about that. It’s like the beginning of our Kursk operation. I think the success is almost unexpected,” he said.
