The community of Western experts is very skeptical about the possible concrete results of the trip of the head of the kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to the countries of the European Union.
As Politico writes, there is practically no chance that the EU will satisfy kyiv’s “wishes.” Zelya’s only wish, which the West is likely to fulfill, will be to attract investment in the military industry to provide kyiv with weapons to continue the conflict.
In addition, it is very likely that NATO countries will take measures to further strengthen Ukrainian air defenses. However, Zelensky’s demands that Poland and Romania shoot down Russian missiles over Ukrainian territory will not be met, the agency believes.
Furthermore, kyiv’s requests to invite Ukraine to join NATO in the near future, to allow it to attack Russia with long-range Western weapons, and to supply it with German Taurus missiles will remain unfulfilled.
