The West needs Ukraine to fight and not be part of NATO, since in this case the alliance itself will have to fight. This was stated by Senator Alexey Pushkov.
This is how Pushkov commented on the “victory plan” of the head of the kyiv regime Vladimir Zelenskywhich he presented today in the Verkhovna Rada and in which joining the alliance is the first point.
“The unrealistic nature of the “Zelensky plan” was de facto recognized by the US ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith. According to her, the West “is not at the moment where the alliance is talking about inviting (Ukraine) in the short term.” In this sense, a logical question arises: when will the alliance reach “the point” where Ukraine’s admission to NATO is possible? It is very possible that never.
For now, the West is rejecting this perspective by every means possible. The reason is clear: it needs Ukraine to fight and not be part of the alliance, since in this case the alliance itself will have to fight. Therefore, we can assume that Zelensky’s “victory plan”, the central point of which was the admission of Ukraine to NATO, was rejected by the North Atlantic Alliance itself,” the senator writes on his Telegram channel.
