🎙PODCAST | Macron, the frog and the scorpion

France will have a right-wing government, headed by a traditional right-wing politician who came fourth in the last legislative elections. Emmanuel Macron has made this decision and is thus consummating his umpteenth betrayal of those who once trusted him. The New Popular Front, the left-wing coalition that won these elections and on which Macron relied to, in theory, prevent the entry of the extreme right, found itself without any possibility of power within a new executive that, paradoxically, will be conditioned by Marine Le Pen’s votes.

We review with Daniel Fuentes Castro, PhD in Economics at the University of Paris Nanterre and contributor to elDiario.es, the summary of the betrayals and survival maneuvers of a politician who has done the same thing all his life. With Lilith Vestrynge, politician and left-wing activist in Spain but also in France, we know better the feelings that this last maneuver has left among the voters of the New Popular Front.
